The Natural Gas Department is responsible for providing natural gas service to customers in the immediate Tifton area as well as to several outlying areas in Tift County.

• Tifton has approximately 3,368 residential, 401 commercial, and 18 industrial customers
• The system can presently deliver natural gas at pressures up to approximately 250 PSI to accommodate the most demanding industrial gas load
