TIFTON, April 28, 2023: The City of Tifton and IDP Properties held a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 19, 2023, for the grand opening of Nine Oaks Apartments located at 310 Old Omega Road, Tifton.
The vision of Nine Oaks began with the City of Tifton and the Tifton Urban Redevelopment Agency’s (URA) South Tifton Redevelopment Assessment and Strategy which ultimately lead to the selection of the land located on Old Omega Road. The citizens of Tifton approved a Special Purpose Local Options Sales Tax that would allow the City to fund these types of projects. The City of Tifton and URA held a request for proposal and selected Integrity Development Partners, LLC (IDP) as the developer to bring the site to its highest and best use, aiming to provide high quality, safe and affordable housing to the residents of south Tifton. The groundbreaking for the complex took place on September 29, 2021.

The name of the complex, Nine Oaks, is in the memory of the nine children who tragically perished in a bus accident in 1959. Nine oak trees were planted at the entrance of the property in memory of those young souls.
Nine Oaks has 56 apartment units consisting of one, two and three bedrooms. The community features a playground, community garden and computer center. The complex is being managed by Integrity Management Company. Inquiries for leasing a unit should be sent to manager@nineoaksapt.com.
